I know I am very “Suzie Homemaker” perhaps it is brought out by the high stress job- I just want to go home to a nice man and cook dinner and have a simple night. Perhaps I am channeling my inner Cleaver subbing in two big dogs for children- or perhaps I am making up for that part of my life that had been missing where people sat and ate a whole meal together at a real table and discussed their days.
Last night The Amazing One came over and I made dinner, and we sat and ate and talked and it was all very nice, and very comfortable. He is, from what I can see so far, one of those mythical “good ones”- actually he is an unbelievable, amazing, breath taking man.
I must like him pretty well, after all I did allow him to not only bring his Mac into my house, but I even let him put it on my network. For an M$ geek girl, that is a pretty big step. However, I’m learning that if someone provides you with a before unknown comfort level and can kiss you until you forget your own name you’re willing to make certain compromises.

So can I buy a Mac now?

PS: Your comment system does weird things on firefox. It’s too wide, the blocroll writes over top of it. Probably just need to decrease the width of the textarea for comments.
