Last night The amazing one made me dinner. Please remember due to past boyfriends my expectations of “let me make you dinner” are not that high. I understand that typical male bachelor is not Betty Crocker, and past boyfriends have “made” me dinner before.

Therefore imagine my surprise and delight when he actually meant he was going to take raw ingredients and put them together into something that was actually a real meal. I believe - although I’m still largely in shock about it- that there was even raw chicken involved which he actually prepared and cooked fully. It was fantastic, it was a really really great dinner, it was NOT a frozen pizza put in the oven, nor was it a purchased pre-cooked deli selection from the local grocery.

Daily The Amazing One continues to surprise me in nothing but the best ways. I keep waiting to find the dead body in the hidden basement freezer, or something, anything that makes this man not perfect for me… I cannot seem to find it- and I think I’m done looking for it. I will just enjoy this person whom I was lucky enough to meet. I believe I have found a keeper here.
