Valentine’s Day is approaching quickly, this year will actually I think be one that I enjoy. I have plans in process for this day which should prove to be quite fun. While I’ve been working thru what I wanted to do for the evening, I began to think about past valentines days, and the insanely horrible ways in which I spent them for the last three years. This also includes the horrible unbelievable gifts I recieved.
Three years ago I spent valentines day preparing a nice dinner which the cheater rushed thru and then feigned “illness” which forced him to leave my house. Later I found out that he’d gone in fact to the ex wifes house that night to finish out the festivities with her. That year he gave me lillies- not because I even like lillies- I really don’t care for them a ton I think they have an awful smell. However those are HIS favorite flower so that’s what I got
Two years ago I was still not wise to the cheater and his stupidity, so I was still in fact with him. That was the year that he gave me the “toy” he’d made for me himself. It was an exact replica that he’d actually casted. Apparently he thought if I ever needed to get laid and he wasn’t around I’d enjoy having that part of him- how wrong he was. I actually enjoyed destroying that particular gift when we broke up- there was a certain special pleasure to it.
Last year I was in the beginning of the relationship with Sparky. He came over and brought me nothing. I understand that things were still new- we were just sorta dating, but I did not even warrant a card apparently.
This year will be better, nicer, will put the romance back in that day for me. I will actually be sharing it with someone I love who loves me too. Novel concept.

hmmm, in doing all the planning, are you in some way stealing the thunder from your man?
what if he has something planned for you? Or is this something you’ve already hashed? Sounds kind-a-like you’re planning a surprise.
if he’s doing the same, be prepared for a plan b.
