The Amazing one and I are in the process of working on his house to prep it to sell. This includes minor cosmetic changes, updating light fixtures, cabinet hardware, painting etc. His two bathrooms however are proving quite time consuming.
These bathrooms both have the MOST hideous late 70’s early 80’s wallpaper up in them. This wallpaper was applied directly to fresh drywall, with no primer, no nothing in fact. This alone has easily doubled the time it will take to remove/prime/patch/paint these walls because everytime you take some of it off you inadvertently pull down the actual drywall paper.
A word to the wise- do not ever ever ever put up wallpaper. It will become dated, and the next person that owns your house will spend countless hours cursing you for it. Just paint, it’s much easier.
