Watching the news this am while at work I realized, every single one of our newscasters/weatherpeople/reporters are friggen insane. They will run “news” reports on anything and everything. This morning there was a part on pets available for adoption and the reporters actually made their own echo when they introduced and closed the segment.
That was followed by a piece on gardens and flowers in which they actually used the term “thundering blossoms” and included for whatever reason mixed among the flowers on display were empty turtle shells , animal skulls and a fox pellet complete with the head portion- I am not sure what this has to do with a garden. That particular piece ended with the crazy ass flower lady taking some of the flowering vines and wrapping them around her head like a hat.
I wonder what people new to or just visiting the city honestly think about us… Probably the same thing I think, this place is full of crazy ass rednecks.
