I don’t know how many times I’ve had my phone ring at 3am to be greeted with drunk whomever on the other end. The conversation usually goes something like this

me: “wtf it’s 3am”
DrunkDialer ” I”M SO WASTED”
me”why the fuck are you calling me?”
drunkdialer “I LOVE YOU LET’S HAVE BABIES”

at that point I usually hang up.

Now LG has come up with a solution for this problem. They are releasing a phone which has a built in breathalyzer. It serves two purposes - you can use it to see if you’re fit to drive, and my favorite you can program the damn thing to not call certain numbers in your phone book if you’re over .08. Perhaps the end of the drunk dial era is upon us?
