This weekend I lost one of my Great Uncles. We moved away from my extended family when I was still quite young, so my memories of them in general are limited, however I recall this particular uncle somewhat vividly.

He always had a smile on his face, and lived every day of his 80 years with joy and to it’s fullest. He played by his own rules, doing what made him happy regardless of what others thought. While some saw that as a source of embarrassment, I think that is the lesson everyone in my family should take with them.
