Three times in the past day some random woman has confused my gmail account with someone she knows and has sent me her holiday photos. These include herself, I’m assuming her husband and child posing with santa. Also there are two old people in some sitting on santa’s lap…
The first one was actually set to music. I was a tad alarmed by that alone- but the old guy on santa’s lap holding candy canes was probably the most odd one…
I never reply and tell these people oops wrong email address- I just wait and count how many times they message me before they figure it out themselves. I can hear the conversation now
“Did you get my christmas pics? No? Let me resend them”
And so it continues until one of them is smart enough to say huh what address are you using? Until then I shall enjoy the disturbing pics of strangers.
for a while i was receiving regular emails from a gu y that obviously had the wrong email address. i tried pointing it out to him several times in email, but he kept the emails coming anyway. so finally i sent him an email telling him yet again that i didn’t know who he was, but since he was determined to send emails to me anyway i might as well talk - so i asked him how he, his wife, and his kids were doing. and wished them well. he finally got the hint.
but then about a month ago i received another email from him, so i started off “hey! long time no hear! your friend didn’t get your email, but i did. how goes?” he didn’t reply. i wonder if i’ve been deleted finally.
