Amazing One has been out of town for the last few days. This is the first time in months and months that I’ve been left to my own devices for an extended amount of time. The first night was tough, I got next to no sleep thanks in part to the puppy trio who spent all night pacing and looking for daddy.

I’m finding that I’ve become somewhat boring in my single girl time. I’ve been cleaning the house, working on wedding stuff and work stuff and generally going to bed super early with the TV on much like I did back in “the day”. I am going to blame my lack of going out and doing things on the fact that the train wreck which you all may have heard about happened in a fairly close proximity to my house. While I still can get home, it takes me longer and is more of a pain in the ass. That lovely train landed smack in the middle of my main way out, so I’m detouring my way in and out every day which just annoys me to no end and so when I finally get home I don’t want to leave. That extra few miles is just… too…. far….

This morning after seeing the Red Hot Chilli Peppers on TV and wondering how in gods name they got so old, which in turn made me feel even older, I decided to go thru some dog hair removal on the couch. I turned around holding the lint roller and all three of them were watching me with that PET ME look. So I decided to kill two birds with one stone. I actually lint rolled all three dogs this morning. Half way thru I realized that I am a crazy person, but I kept going until I’d used the entire freshly opened lint roller refill. I think it’s at least good that I realize I’m completely insane.
