Last weekend was my bridal shower. Let’s begin with the whole “holy shit I’m less than 5 weeks away from the wedding” freakout, followed by the wow I”ve never had one of these before this is AWESOME moment. I do have to admit that driving to my shower I was nervous. I have no idea why, I just was. It’s not like there were strangers there, it’s not like I had to give some presentation or anything. I was just nervous. Perhaps it’s pre-pre wedding jitters or some such.

I do have to say that SarahSpace and Chef Blue threw me the most amazing shower I’ve ever been to. Sarahspace had gone all out with things like flowers and table and linen and china rentals and the whole place just looked fantastic. Chef Blue did all the food and brought in an assistant even to give him a hand with the cooking/serving and just general being wonderful.

The whole thing was fabulous, the food was superb (but then everything Chef Blue has ever made has been wonderful). Sarahspace was the most wonderful hostess, and everyone had a truly nice time. Thank you guys so much for all the hard work!
