Years ago I joined one of those cd clubs, back when I actually still got cd’s and I wanted to beef up the collection a little. Of course I would never actually send back the little response cards so I ended up with a metric crapton of bizzarre CD’s that I would never in a million years actually listen to. These CD’s were the first to go up to the amazon site tonight as I started testing how CD sales would go. Having not actually purchased a cd in I’d say at least a year perhaps even two I was not sure what kind of market would be out there for them. Apparently though there still are people who want them.

A1 came in as I was wrapping up the posting and was moving the Rod Stewart’s greatest hits over from the to do pile to the listed pile. He of course made fun of me for even owning the CD and pondered aloud who the hell would want to buy such a thing. Apparently someone did cause I’ll be damned if we didn’t just check my marketplace account and see that CD is the first of the batch posted to sell. (and within like 1.5 hours of listing too WTF). I was even MORE surprised that it sold to some man in Texas, I so thought it would go to an old woman in south Florida.
