Since 5:30 this morning we’ve heard the sound of at least two seperate news choppers circling overhead. Was there some big horrible accident? Is there some huge drama playing out downtown? Nope, some gas station is selling gas for $.99 a gallon for the first 500 customers today.

Apparently there have been people waiting in line since last night, and from what we last noted there’s a line of cars at least a few miles long. Now I get it, gas currently at my exit is hitting about $4.29 a gallon. I don’t like paying that much for a fill-up, really really I don’t. It’s gone from costing me about $30 per gas trip to over $50 and approaching quickly the $60 mark. I don’t however hate it enough to spend hours sitting in line with all kinds of crazy people to get the special price gas.

At least the news choppers will already be up there when the fighting/car accidents/general insanity starts.

Can you tell me who did your layout? I’ve been looking for one kind of like yours. Thank you.
