I decided I will be more healthy, you know the usual, less red meat more turkey and chicken, less white bread, more whole grains, less fried food more oven baked goodness.. In my first attempt at healthy I decide as much as I love a bigass cheeseburger on huge bready goodness buns I will swap out the ground beef for a turkey patty and the huge white seasame seed goodness bun for a 7 grain smaller one.

As I cook my turkey burger and toast my healthy wheaty bun I am proud of myself. this is progress!! I am going to be healthier and lose some of that post wedding weight!! I will work out more! I will be all svelt and hot and look like I host my own FitTV show! I will feel better inside and out!

I take my turkey burger out of the pan, and proceed to slather my 7 grain bun with ketchup, mayo, mustard pickles and cheese and put my oven baked frozen fries next to it. Then I crack open a beer and think “wish I had some bacon to go with this…” I take my first bite and think, hey this isn’t bad at all!! Then it hits me, I can’t tell it’s turkey OR whole wheat with all the crap on it so no wonder it’s not bad.. Perhaps next time I’ll go the next step and switch to light mayo, sweet potato baked fries and light beer. Baby steps right?

Kraft has an awesome low-fat mayo. I actually like it better than regular mayonaise.
