Today while lamenting with a coworker about how we sometimes have to do boring repetitive shit that we hate doing and will only have to do this one time and never use again I was struck by motivational inspiration. I told him to think of it as something he’d then be really good at, and then followed it up with “think of it as a bigger snowflake in your blizzard of knowledge”

I am proud of this line. I don’t know why.
